Selçukludan Cumhuriyete Şehir Yönetimi
 
Bu eser, şehir ve yerel yönetim kurumlarını tarihsel bazda işleyen araştırmalardan oluşmaktadır. Bu iki olgudan kent tarihi, dünyada ve Türkiye'de oldukça ilgi gören bir alandır. Bu alana gösterilen ilgi, tarihçilerin üzerinde hala tartıştıkları sorunsallara çözüm aramak gayesiyle ve özellikle de yerel yönetim unsurlarının (belediyeler, valilik vb.) bölge tarihini bilinir hale getirmek amaçlı taleplerine dayalı olarak daha da artmaktadır.

This work consists of researches that process city and local government institutions on a historical basis. These two cases from the historic city in the world and in Turkey is an area receiving a lot of attention. The interest in this area is growing even more, based on the demands of historians (municipalities, governorates etc.) to make the history of the region known, in order to find solutions to the problems still discussed by historians.
